Police stormed his home and arrested him on Friday.
Everton released a statement on Monday evening confirming that they have suspended the player and will assist the police with any pieces of information.
The statement on the club’s official website read: “Everton may agree to suspend the player until police investigate.
“The party will continue to support the authorities by asking their questions and will not comment further on this.”
Greater Manchester Police said: “Authorities arrested a man on Friday 16 July 2021 on suspicion of child molestation.”
“He is in the custody of police pending further investigations.”
One source told The Mirror: “This has caused a great deal of fear.
Any suggestions for alleged child abuse are carefully considered from the outset. ”
The researcher added: “Obviously, this issue must be thoroughly investigated. Protests of this kind will create a great deal of fear among all the people in the club, the shooters and the general public.
“This is a matter of waiting to see where the test will lead us.”
