Unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua left his 12.5m Instagram followers in shock after sharing a photo of his awesome body during training a few days ago.
Joshua will face Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk undefeated on September 25, it looks like the former Olympic gold medalist has started training for the fight, after spending a few months resting and travel with friends and colleagues.
AJ wrote the post, “I enjoy working” and received support from many boxers and fellow races.
“Never,” said Anthony Fowler.
Kal Yafai said, “A man like Femi !!!”
Joshua’s situation comes just days after coach Peter Fury drew the heavyweight champion before his fight.
Fury, who is on Tyson’s brother’s side next to the 2015 world champion Gypsy King victory, said Usyk was “a heavyweight and a great performer,” and had more potential than defeating AJ in their fight in September.
“Not walking in the park. Forget the cruiserweight. This guy, he’s had two fights in the heavyweight division, he’s changed, he’s put in the essentials.
“He’s a big weight and a lot of talent, so it’s going to be a good fight.”
“Yeah, of course, he has [enough power to get Joshua’s respect],” he told Sky Sports.
“It’s the right boxer and everyone in the fight market knows when you’re in that heavy position, when you box right, any boxer can break.
“Yes, it was part of that division or a lot of fear. It was a terrible fight. Joshua was full of praise for Joshua fighting the fight.”
Joshua will face former champion Usyk on September 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The problem is undoubtedly the toughest test AJ has had to date.
Usyk is widely regarded as one of the best boxers in the world and has previously won the likes of Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora and Murat Gassiev.
Joshua will be the favourite to enter the fight, following his last stint with Kubrat Pulev as well as his size and strength.
However, he did not say that Usyk was not alone on the stairs-rock to enter the all-British connection with Tyson Fury.
